Bonus Terms Explained
Confused by casino bonus language? Here's a plain-English guide to the terms every Pakistani player should know before claiming any offer.
Wagering Requirement / Rollover
This is the number of times you must bet your bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings derived from it. It's the single most important number to check in any bonus offer.
A higher rollover means you need to wager more total money before cashing out — so a lower number is always better for the player.
Example: You receive a PKR 5,000 bonus with a 15x rollover. You must wager PKR 75,000 (5,000 × 15) before withdrawing. At 20x, that becomes PKR 1,00,000.
Maximum Bet During Bonus
When playing with active bonus funds, most platforms cap the maximum stake per bet. Exceeding this limit can void your bonus and any associated winnings — so always check this figure before placing large bets.
The cap exists to prevent players from clearing wagering requirements too quickly on high-volatility games.
Example: If the max bet during bonus is PKR 300, placing a PKR 600 spin while using bonus funds could forfeit your entire bonus balance.
Game Contribution
Not all games count equally toward clearing your wagering requirement. Slots typically contribute 100%, meaning every PKR 100 wagered counts in full. Table games like Blackjack or Roulette often contribute only 10–20%, making them inefficient for clearing bonuses.
Example: PKR 1,000 wagered on slots clears PKR 1,000 of rollover. PKR 1,000 on Blackjack (10% contribution) only clears PKR 100.
Bonus Expiry
Every bonus comes with a time limit. If you don't clear the wagering requirement within this window, the bonus and any winnings generated from it are forfeited. Common windows are 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days.
Example: A PKR 3,000 welcome bonus with a 7-day expiry must be fully rolled over within one week of claiming it, or the remaining balance is removed.
Sticky vs Non-Sticky Bonus
A sticky bonus cannot itself be withdrawn — only the winnings you generate from it can be cashed out. With a non-sticky bonus, if you meet wagering requirements, you can withdraw both the bonus funds and your winnings.
Most welcome bonuses are sticky, meaning the bonus amount is deducted at withdrawal and only net winnings above the bonus
value are paid out.
Example: Sticky bonus of PKR 5,000, you run it up to PKR 12,000 and meet rollover. You withdraw PKR 12,000 minus PKR 5,000 = PKR 7,000 actual cashout.
Maximum Cash-Out
Even if you win big on a bonus, many offers cap how much you can actually withdraw from bonus-derived winnings. This protects the platform from extreme edge cases but can be frustrating if you hit a major win while on a free spin or welcome bonus.
Example: A free spin bonus with a PKR 10,000 max cashout means even if you win PKR 50,000 from those spins, only PKR 10,000 is withdrawable. Always check this before claiming.
